The walk from the metro is not easy, despite proximity. The nearest bus stop, right on Army Navy Drive, has neither shelter nor bench though a better bus stop is under construction. The store does not have an entrance on Army Navy Drive. A bike lane with concrete curb buffer from 4 lane traffic is under construction. There are no bike racks at Harris Teeter nor next door at Target, although there is a decorative rail that might be used - the closest real bike racks are all the way over on Joyce Street. At night, it would be much safer to walk three sides of the big Target, which has sconce lights, than to risk going past the loading docks, the short path from metro, which has an unusual sidewalk that requires crossing the road twice and has no ramp or accommodation for wheelchair access.
