Although located along Langston Blvd, Mom’s Organic Market offers surprisingly good connectivity to the Arlington County bike network via the Custis Trail, the N Veitch St bike lanes, and 21st St N on-street route. U-shaped bike racks are located near each of the two entrance doorways. The racks adjacent to the parking lot offer more concealment from the street and should be able to accommodate most cargo bikes. There is also a nearby Capital Bikeshare station located at the corner of N Veitch St and 20th St N. Sidewalks around the store are wide and the concrete is in good condition. Curb ramps and well-marked crosswalks provide pedestrian access across Langston Blvd and N Veitch St. Unfortunately the crosswalks across Langston Blvd are roughly 100 feet long and there are not comfortable median refuge areas. The closest bus stops on Langston Blvd are also placed awkwardly far from the aforementioned intersection. There are benches and trash cans at these bus stops but no shelters. The ART 55 route serves the nearby stops every 15 minutes on weekdays and every 20-30 minutes on weekends while the Metrobus 3Y route only provides one-way rush-hour service.
